Just hit a wall with Live Activity. I was almost 80% done when I realized I need a server to push out the bus arrival times.
This is the kind of thing AI won’t tell you. It won’t tap you on the shoulder and say, “Hey bro, you need to host a server for this to work.” So here’s a heads-up: if you are not planning to run a server, it’s better not to start.
But at this point, I’m already too many commits in to turn back. I am way too excited to see Live Activity running on my phone. If the app needs a server, then it is going to have one.
